Are the commissions set up by Vatican II--not believed to be guided by the Spirit? John Paul II was to be on the papal birth control commission, but refused to attend one meeting? It voted 72-28 in favour of allowing contraception. This same man convinced Paul VI to accept the minority recommendation of the commission. Was this against the will of the Spirit??
