CRUSADERS may have recorded their first win of 2004, but manager Alan Dornan insists his players still have work to do in order to stay in the Premier League.

They remain in 13th place despite the victory, but the gap between the Crues and second-bottom Cliftonville now stands at six points.

Dornan said: "I am happy with the win, it moves us a little bit further away from the bottom but there is still a lot of football to be played.

The foundation for the victory was laid as early as 14 seconds into the game when James Willis fired home from inside the box.

Willis then sealed the points seven minutes from time with a neat flick from Marty Robinson's low cross.

The former Wolves apprentice could have had a hat-trick late on, but saw the ball run just the wrong side of the post after putting it past goalkeeper Michael Doherty on the edge of the box.
