NEW FACES

Elizabeth Ewing has joined The Arc of Spokane as assistant to the human resources and finance director. Ewing previously worked for The Arc's residential program before finishing her bachelor's degree in woman's studies at Washington State University.

Cassie Holliday has joined The Arc of Spokane as an employment specialist.

Previously an office manager for Holiday Heating and Refrigeration, Holliday has an educational background in therapeutic recreation.

Nancy Plourde has joined The Arc of Spokane as an administrative assistant and receptionist. Plourde was previously with The Spokesman- Review and has worked in print media for 20 years.

Mary Jane Brukardt has joined Desautel Hege Communications as an account manager. Brukardt, who holds a bachelor's degree in English literature from Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, is currently enrolled in the executive master's program in philanthropic studies at Indiana University.

PROMOTED

Pam Mulvania has been promoted to the position of director of human resources and budget for The Arc of Spokane. Mulvania, who joined The Arc in 1990, previously held the position of budget administrator and information technology manager.

Nancy Goudge has been promoted to the position of director of finance for The Arc of Spokane. Goudge previously was accounting administrator and has been with The Arc for 14 years.

Jodie Benner has been promoted to the position of individual supported employment manager at The Arc of Spokane. She will continue her present duties as group employment developer. Benner joined The Arc of Spokane in 2001 and holds a bachelor's degree in clinical psychology from Eastern Washington University.

Cher Desautel has been promoted to the position of president and CEO of Desautel Hege Communications. Desautel, who became a partner in 1997, holds a master of science in communications from Eastern Washington University and is accredited in public relations through the Public Relations Society of America.

Michelle Hege has been promoted to the position of COO of Desautel Hege Communications. Hege, who joined the firm in 1998, holds a master of science degree in communication from Eastern Washington University and is accredited in public relations through the Public Relations Society of America.

Sara Johnston has been promoted to the position of vice president at Desautel Hege Communications. Johnston, who has been with the firm for over five years, holds a bachelor of science in communications/ public relations from Eastern Washington University.

Tom Mercer has been promoted to the position of vice president at Leone & Keeble Inc. Mercer, who previously worked for Hazen and Clark Inc., has been with the company since 1993.

Gary Schimmels Jr., has been promoted to the position of vice president at Leone & Keeble Inc. Schimmels, who previously worked for Red Diamond Inc., has been with the company since 1995.
