WHAT is it about people that makes them want to marry convicted prisoners whom they have never met?

I've heard about women wanting to marry murderous men on death row in America and now some guy called Dean wants to marry Maxine Carr!

Next thing someone will propose to husband-killer Catherine Nevin and I wouldn't be surprised if someone had asked to have kids with Myra Hindley.

Just what goes through such people's heads?
