I THINK the FA have done the right right thing in banning Rio Ferdinand for eight months.

He gets paid an extortionate amount of money each week for playing football. The least he can do is turn up for a drugs test on time. His arrogance deserves to be punished.

This will stop other footballers getting too big for their boots in the future. None of them are that important that they think they can get away with flaunting the rules.
