Nelson, a member of the Princeton chapters of Phi Beta Kappa Society, Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society, and Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, is the son of Herb and Cathy Nelson of Spokane. Nelson graduated from Saint George's School in 1999.
Rachel Finnegan and Forrest Jay, both of Spokane, have graduated from Montana Tech, Butte, Mont.
Finnegan received a bachelor of science in geophysical engineering.
Jay earned a bachelor of science in environmental engineering.
Kyle Hattenburg has graduated from Harding University with a bachelor of arts degree.
Hattenburg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hattenburg, majored in Bible.
Jasmine Justice has received a master of fine arts degree from the Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, New Jersey. Justice, the daughter of the late Charles David Justice and Grady Gilmartin Ring of Spokane, completed her undergraduate work at Spokane Falls Community College and the University of Washington.
Nicole Carlson has graduated from Harvey Mudd College with a bachelor of science degree in physics. Carlson, the daughter of Brent and Janine Carlson of Spokane, also received departmental honors in computer science.
Jordan Moberg, a 1998 graduate of Freeman High School, has graduated magna cum laude from California Polytechnic Institute San Luis Obispo with degrees in microbiology and biotechnology. Moberg will begin working at the Lawrence Berkeley Research Laboratory in their new antibioterrorism division.
Ian Higgins has graduated from Kenyon College with a bachelor's degree in studio art. Higgins, the son of Shaun Higgins and Ann Glendening, graduated cum laude.
Air Force Cadet Anthony Hardman has graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo., with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. Hardman, the son of Scott Hardman of Mead and Annette Whitekiller of Wapato, Wash., was commissioned as a second lieutenant.
