THE MTV Awards were eventful as ever. But it seems these awards are no longer really about music - but about who can do the most outrageous thing.

Celebs just want to outdo each other with wacky (and sometimes annoying) stunts. Take Christina Aguilera - her nun outfit was meant to shock and it did, for all the wrong reasons.

Perhaps it would be better if the awards next year were about the music and not the egos of musicians.
