YOUR SAY: Call off this credit

IT'S no surprise that the Pension Credit scheme is in chaos, after only two weeks.

As your reporter Susie Boniface showed last week, many calls have been out-sourced to a company which seemed understaffed and where some operatives can't spell or add up. It seems any rubbish is good enough for the elderly! Successive governments have produced a pension system which destroys dignity and financial security. Linking pensions to inflation rather than wages and ignoring factors like massive council tax increases means the living standards of the elderly are falling each year.
