Daughter held over lost gran
BRIAN FARMERTHE daughter and grand-daughter of a missing sick 82-year-old woman were being held by police yesterday after removing her from a care home.
They have refused to say where Edna Herapath is now, and failed to comply with a court order to return her to the home.
After an application by social workers concerned for Mrs Herapath, who they say was taken without their agreement, a High Court judge asked the public to help trace her.
Mrs Herapath, who has Parkinson's disease, had been staying at the home in March, Cambridgeshire.
Police said they had arrested her daughter, Anne Jenkinson, who is thought to be in her 50s, and from Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, and Mrs Jenkinson's daughter Karen, for failing to comply with a court order to return the pensioner to the home.
High Court judge Mr Justice Munby has ordered both women to be brought before him tomorrow.
