YOU have to hand it to Pamela Anderson. There ain't no doubt in her mind that her relationship with model hunk Marcus Schenkenberg is rock solid.

Why else would she throw caution to the wind and risk the curse of the home-wrecker ad campaign?

Consider the evidence. The ink was barely dry on Bruce Willis and Demi's ad campaign for Donna Karan before she was off getting jiggy with her martial-arts expert.

And what about our Mark Vanderloo and his pneumatic-lipped wife Esther Canadas? One minute they're smooching in the DKNY ad, and before you know it the rumours are out that their relationship has hit the ground like a safe.

It was touch and go for a while.

After Marcus appeared alone at the Iceberg show, and then Pammy turned up at the Versace Couture show sans Marcus, the rumour mill cranked up a notch and Marcus was forced to insist that he and Pam were still happily together.

Anderson has linked up with lover boy for Italian trash merchant Iceberg's ad campaign (previous celeb ad campaigns have featured Iggy Pop and Lil' Kim), shot by David LaChapelle. In the ads, Marcus, looking ripped and buffed to within an inch of his life, gazes adoringly at Pammy, while she vamps it up for all she's worth in Iceberg's signature brash and flash frocks.

Maybe Pammy thinks there's safety in numbers. Kirsty Hume and Donovan Leitch's relationship appears to be going strong, despite doubling up for a Paul Smith ad.

And Helena Christensen and her actor husband, Norman Reedus, are currently posing for Alessandro dell'Acqua in Italian Vogue.

Perhaps Pammy's hoping the home-wrecker ads are just a Donna Karan thing.

Let's hope so. It's easy to cut your ex-boyfriend's smug face out of a few old snapshots. But it's a different story entirely if it's plastered over every glossy magazine in the world.
