Judging from the greying faces of newscasters across all channels this week, morale on the big terrestrial bulletins is already in need of reinforcements.
But then two weeks spent describing in exuberant detail how American and British bombs have "pounded", "flattened", "bombarded", "destroyed", "exploded" and "gutted" everything in their path, it's no wonder times look hard.
What else new is there to report in this war apart from how many people die?
But then as one cynical newsman told me: "the bombs look so much better in widescreen...."
