Afterthoughts

-- Justice Scalia and Dick Cheney say there is nothing unethical about their recent duck-hunting trip together, but the Democrats are crying fowl.

-- There would be a problem if the two discussed the upcoming court case regarding Cheney's energy task force. Unfortunately, the only witnesses are a bunch of dead ducks.

-- Nevertheless, Scalia should recuse himself from the case. A judge and a defendant in a duck blind with a smoking gun could be the smoking gun.

-- Of course, if Scalia recuses himself, then Clarence Thomas would recuse himself. They are together on everything.
