CAROLINE ELLIOTTSeverance: Blade of Darkness IF feisty female fighters and whopping great warriors doing battle around dingy dungeons is your bag, you're in for a treat. But puzzle-solvers and dialogue demons are out of luck. In this hack 'n' slasher, anything is a weapon - chairs, torches and severed limbs can all be used to thwack your adversaries. Play as one of four characters - warrior, knight, dwarf and adventuress each of whom has an individual path to follow and will acquire weapons and extra "moves" as they gain experience. The graphics are stunning: reflections are crystal clear and demons are devilishly detailed. A monster adventure ghastly and gripping.

Buzz Lightyear of Star Command THE ultimate space ranger gets his own show - playing intergalactic cop in 14 missions set on urban, volcanic, snowbound, swampy and underwater planets. To save the galaxy from his nemesis Zurg, Buzz has a standard-issue laser, which he upgrades by collecting Galactic Alliance Credits. The point of each mission is to bag the crook, who cannot be apprehended until he reaches a "getaway" spot. If the bad guy gets there first, Buzz has 15 seconds to complete his mission.
Fast, furious and fun.
