GU FACULTY MEMBERS RECEIVE RESEARCH AWARDS
Compiled by Karen MasonEleven Gonzaga University School of Business Administration faculty received the Jepson Faculty Fellowship Award for their research published in top-tier professional journals:
Kenneth Anderson, associate professor of management; Randall Bennett, associate professor economics; C. Scott Bozman, associate professor of marketing; Paul Buller, professor of management; P. Pete Chong, assistant professor of management information systems; David Elloy, associate professor of management; Scott Hedin, assistant professor, operations management; James Helgeson, associate professor of marketing; Kent Hickman, associate professor of finance; Kenneth Manning, assistant professor of marketing; and Walter Teets, assistant professor of accounting.
The Jepson Fellowship program encourages independent research by business educators. Seven Inland Northwest students made news during the summer quarter at Western Washington University in Bellingham: Six completed their bachelor of arts degrees and were awarded diplomas: Kimberly Y. Chu, James Mark Kawabata, Jennifer Ann Lingo, Brian N. Meyers, Melissa Olson and Johanna Rebecca Buck. Jonathan McNeill Lutyens was named to WWU's honor roll with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. Marine Sgt. Douglas Marcille, son of Judith Marcille, Spokane, was promoted to his present rank while serving with Station Operations and Maintenance Squadron, Marine Corps Air, Yuma, Ariz. Marcille was promoted based on sustained superior job performance and proficiency. He is a 1991 graduate of East Valley High School.
