IT is disgraceful that unscrupulous colleges are helping to smuggle thousands of bogus students into the UK each year.

All they need, as you reported, is pounds 500 and a certificate from one of the colleges to say they are planning to study there, even though they don't really intend to. This is putting genuine students' applications in jeopardy.

How many more illegal immigrants are we going to let enter Britain and be a drain on our resources before this Government gets tough? Urgent action needs to be taken now against the fixers like Alam Jalalov who you exposed.
