MY heart goes out to Duke and Duchess of Wessex, who are undergoing IVF treatment in their desperation for children.

After nine failed IVF treatments we put in to adopt a little boy, and are now awaiting a son. There is more than one way to have a family. Thousands of children in this country who have had a bad start in life need good, loving homes.

They are special and very much wanted by people like us who have also been dealt a cruel hand in life.
