Football: SWANS SUB THOMAS SO NEARLY THE DESTROYER
KEITH MORGANA SHOT against the post and shouts for a penalty, both in the last five minutes ended the boredom for Swansea's biggest crowd of the season.
Sub James Thomas, struck the post with keeper Andy Dibble beaten, but that scare for Wrexham came just after they had loud appeals for a penalty turned down.
Andy Morrell twisted and turned in the penalty area before being fouled as two defenders went looking to clear the danger.
Referee, Clive Penton, waved play on and Thomas almost sneaked a goal at the other end.
It was a quiet debut for Swans keeper Neil Cutler, who arrived on loan from Stoke City on Friday afternoon.
"I'm delighted with the clean sheet and very happy with the defence as they made life very easy for me," said Cutler.
"I have had very little time to get to know the Swansea players. In fact, the only way I thought of was checking the names on their shirts.
"We are very disappointed we didn't get all three points but it was one of those games where the ball just didn't want to go in," he added.
