YOUR SAY: Put them away now

I JUST couldn't believe it when I saw the photographs of Simon Gregson from TV's Coronation Street puffing away on a fag.

If he has not got the willpower to quit smoking he shouldn't be involved in an anti-smoking campaign.

Hours previously he had been plastered all over the TV and newspapers claiming to give up the habit and then is posing for photographs with a cigarette in his hand - which just makes a mockery of him and the campaign.

The campaign is meant to encourage smokers to quit but if the people giving the message don't have the determination to do it, it just leaves you disillusioned.
