Your Say: Readers Letter
R Young SligoI WOULD like to compliment Mr Louis Walsh on the dignified way he handled claims about his sexuality.
He responded to Boy George's inference that he was gay with a polite "no comment".
I don't care if he is gay or straight but I find his stance refreshing.
I think a person's sexuality is nobody else's business - as long as no-one is being hurt or abused.
I wonder what would happen to if "sexually disgraced" politician where to face up to the media and say: "My private life is none of your business."
Have we not had enough of the media exposing people's personal lives for the titilation of others?
Come on society - time to grow up.
