First word
Jane WrightDing ding! Celebrity grudge match ahoy! After this week's revelations that Catherine Zeta Jones dreaded her wedding pics looking like Posh and Becks' lovely snaps, it can only be a matter of time before the feisty Vic squares up to the Welsh whinger. Remember this is the woman who took Naomi Campbell to task for behaving in a rather bovine manner. So it'll be Manolos at dawn if CZJ's not careful. Anyway, as you will see from Peter Ross's column on page 13, we've all had quite enough of Hollywood's 'golden' couple and their overweening vanity.
There are a few more people known for behaving badly in this week's issue. First, that naughty Colin Farrell, who is trying to erase his clean-living public schoolboy past by showing his bellybutton a lot and snogging Britney, the mad, bad, dangerous fool. But there's no denying he's a good actor. And talking of Britney, her Celtic incarnation is alive and well in our capital belting out Oh- baby, babys in homage to the great pop princess. You'll find her in our tribute band feature on page 14. Finally, there's the grumpy but wonderful Nina Simone at 70. Now that's how to play the stroppy diva with class. Catherine Zeta Jones take note.
