MotoGP: Super Mac is five alive
JOHN BROWNULSTERMAN Jeremy McWilliams is being retained by the Oxfordshire- based Proton KR team to race a new five-cylinder four-stroke machine in next season's MotoGP World Championship.
The V5 is being developed in collaboration with Lotus Engineering at Proton's Banbury race shop. McWilliams and Japanese rider Nobuatsu Aoki are expected to start track testing in December.
Team owner and three times former world champion Kenny Roberts said that both riders had impressed him this year with their performances on the three-cylinder two-stroke Protons.
