font+2 Multiple Sclerosis/font n B Program on employment planned -- /B A free program titled "Employment Issues for People With Multiple Sclerosis" will be offered from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Room 4. The speakers will be lawyer Kelly C. Brown and Melba J. Sutton, a licensed master social worker. There is no charge to attend. font+2 Highway construction/font n B Westbound Interstate 70 will be reduced /B to one lane of traffic beginning at 5:30 a.m. today, weather permitting.

According to the Kansas Department of Transportation, traffic is being reduced to one lane westbound to reduce as much as possible the vibrations on the viaduct while a new section of concrete is placed on the eastbound lanes. The lane reduction will be in effect until noon Thursday.

Also, beginning at 8:30 a.m. today, eastbound traffic on the Kansas Turnpike near the construction site at Croco Road and the East Topeka Interchange will be stopped intermittently throughout the day. The traffic will be stopped from five to seven minutes at a time to allow placement of nine concrete girders over the eastbound lanes.

font+2 Living through Mourning/font n B New group to begin -- /B A fall session of Living Through Mourning, a six-week group for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one, will begin Monday.

The group will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. each Monday at Midland Hospice Care, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, in Building A. The sessions will provide information and assist with various aspects of grief and mourning.

A donation of $15 is requested. For more information, call Melissa at Midland Hospice Care at 232-2044.

font+2 Peace Corps recruiting/font n b Representatives from the Peace Corps /B will have an information booth at the Career & Graduate School Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Washburn's Lee Arena.

Laura Oldanie, Kansas representative for the Peace Corps, and Jeff Martin, public affairs specialist for the Peace Corps' Denver Regional Office, will be on hand to answer any questions visitors may have about the organization.
