Foundation honors Sternlicht

Barry S. Sternlicht [left], executive chairman of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, his wife Mimi and Jay Leno gather after the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Seattle Guild honored Sternlicht with the 2005 "Living and Giving Award" at its annual Dream Gala at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel & Towers. The award is presented to an individual in recognition of extraordinary vision and leadership provided to JDRF to improve the lives of people with diabetes. More than 900 people attended the gala.
