Lodging C-Corp index up 1.55 percent

The PricewaterhouseCoopers lodging C-Corp stock index increased 1.55 percent in the four-week period ending March 16, outperforming the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average, which declined by 1.06 percent and 1.13 percent, respectively. The PricewaterhouseCoopers lodging real-estate investment trust stock index declined in value by just less than 1 percent. Only three of the 13 lodging REIT stocks increased, while seven of the 24 lodging C-Corp stocks increased in value.
