Football: O'Hare cracker
DAVID HUNTERIT was a case of relief and frustration for Lisburn Distillery manager Paul Kirk.
After a run of six successive defeats they finally got the point on the scoreboard that their performance merited.
But a frustrated Kirk admitted: "I am pleased in the sense that we have got a point, but I am extremely disappointed that we haven't got all three when you consider the manner of the equaliser."
The equaliser came from Coleraine goalkeeper Davy O'Hare - his first for the club - and it came on 58 minutes.
O'Hare's long kick went straight up the park and his opposite number Phil Matthews, under pressure from Jody Tolan, went up then down in a heap and the ball went into the goal!
Coleraine boss Marty Quinn was not happy either, because of the soft penalty that his defender Stuart Clanachan conceded right on the break. He rashly fouled Francis Murphy and Gerard Lyttle stepped up to convert his second penalty of the season.
Neither manager was particualrly pleased then, but the fans will have enjoyed what was a good entertaining game of football with chances at both ends.
The players who looked likely to break the initial deadlock were Distillery's Conor Downey and Jody Tolan of Coleraine.
Downey put a chance over on 21 minutes and Tolan had a header cleared off the line on 23 minutes.
Coleraine boss Marty Quinn added: "We can't be happy with our performance we had enough opportunities to win the game, particularly in the second half."
