Football: World Cup 2002: Klose call for Voeller
PAUL SANDERSGERMANY coach Rudi Voeller is confident tournament top striker Miroslav Klose will be fit to play in Tuesday's World Cup group E clash with Cameroon.
Voeller said Klose, who bruised his right knee after scoring in Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Ireland, should resume proper training yoday.
Defender Christoph Metzelder, who hurt his right ankle in Wednesday's game, should also recover in time for the game on Tuesday, from which Germany need at least a draw to reach the knock- out stage.
"Miro (Miroslav) and Christoph are both on their way to recovery and should be back in full training tomorrow at the latest," Voeller said. "I expect all the players in the squad to be fit."
