* On January 22, 2004, Senator Barbara Boxer (Democrat, California) and Representative Jerrold Nadler (Democrat, New York) introduced in Congress the Freedom of Choice Act, in recognition of the thirty-first anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Americans can show their support for FOCA by participating in the Match for Women's Lives on April 25.
