A fresh start
Rector, RickYou probably noticed something a bit different about this month's issue of Gourmet News. We've changed the look of the publication slightly to make it more modern and more accessible to you, the reader.
While we wanted to update our appearance, we didn't want to make a change that was so drastic you wouldn't recognize Gourmet News for what it is...the best source of industry news around. Instead, we tweaked our logo, redesigned the look of our front page, developed new department artwork and generally cleaned up some things. You'll see some other changes as you turn our pages.
Why would we go to the trouble of altering the way we look? We want to be sure we're doing the best job possible of presenting vital news in a format that's inviting and readable. You know news is important to you in the way you run your business. If we can make it easier for you to access and read, we're making a small contribution to your efficiency.
All of us at Gourmet News are committed to the gourmet and specialty food business. We believe there is a great future here, so we're making an investment in modernizing our look to reflect the vitality of our industry. Although the look is different, the top-notch stories you've come to expect from Gourmet News will continue to be fresh, vital and a regular part of your business life.
I'm not angling for compliments here, but we're truly interested in your thoughts about our new look. Please drop me an e-mail and give me your honest reaction.
