I WATCHED a House of Commons debate on TV and was disgusted to see one MP try to speak, while 95 per cent of his colleagues chatted to the person nearest them. One MP added to it by yawning without putting her hand over her mouth. The Speaker eventually called for order, but I was left without the respect I once had for the House of Commons.
