Football: INSTITUTE ... 2 CRUSADERS ... 1
GEORGE JACKSONINSTITUTE created a new club record with their fourth consecutive Premier win.
They had to do it the hard way, however, as they were left shellshocked after just 31 seconds when Crusaders went ahead through the unmarked Gerard Rowe, who crashed the ball in after Alan Murphy's volley had been pushed away by keeper John Connolly.
Institute took the game by the scruff of the neck but they had to wait until the 75th minute for their incessant pressure to pay dividends.
Crusaders defender John Muir was adjudged to have handled and left- back Willie Patterson stepped up to hammer home the spot-kick.
Three minutes later Institute sub Stephen Parkhouse scored a deserved winner, side-footing Bratton's pass into an empty net as Connolly came dashing out of his goal.
