USPB said it anticipates completing the acquisition of Farmland National in late summer in a buyout partnership with a group of Farmland National management and Beef Products Inc., a manufacturer of boneless, lean beef. The management group and Beef Products will be minority owners. The acquisition will be done for $232 million.
