Reading the news, I get the blues rapes, shootings, muggings, abuse, burglaries, killings. Such realities poison the mind. For me, California's era of romance ended with Liz Taylor and Richard Burton.

Mass Media Shrink people to the lowest common denominator. Profit determines the news sensational not inspirational.

This blue news sells antidepressants. Must let headlines go over my head, so I can smell the roses.

Oh, what the heck! If nothing else, a newspaper can shield my bald spot from the sun.
