Your Say: An act of kindness

REBECCA Carroll is to be commended for helping a relative stranger.

But the fact I find most startling is the enormous difference between the economies involved.

To find that a paltry sum, such as EUR5, is a month's earnings is humbling.But what is worse is

that the gentleman, Albert Thetee, managed to accrue savings of EUR22 on his meagre income - more than I've managed to save on my western salary.

Good luck to Mr Thetee and his

family, and Rebecca, you are an example to us all.
