IRISH NURSE STRUCK OFF
JAMES KELLYAN IRISH nurse working in London has been struck off after fiddling thousands of pounds from Britain's National Health Service.
Rosaleen Keogh, 40, who lives in Edmonton, was removed from the Nursery and Midwifery Council's national register after being found guilty of claiming more than pounds 75,000 for hours she had not worked.
The Professional Conduct Committee heard that Keogh had received a 15-month jail term at Wood Green Crown Court, in London, for her fraudulent claims, which she had made over an 18-month period between 1999 and 2000.
She forged signatures on documents whilst employed by Barnet and Chase Farm Hospital.
Keogh will no longer be able to work as a nurse in Britain.
