Pyjama party boost for cancer fund
RICHARD ALLENMOST people's old pyjamas are good for little more than turning into dusters. But if you are model sisters Jodie and Jemma Kidd, your castoff bedwear is a potential goldmine.
A host of stars will tomorrow dig deep into their dressing gown pockets for the chance to go home in fellow stars' pyjamas - including those of Paul McCartney, Michael Caine, Elton John, Robbie Williams and Geri Halliwell.
They hope to raise more than 50,000 for the Everyman charity, which funds research into and raises awareness about male cancers.
The Fashion and Textile Museum in Bermondsey will be transformed into a dormitory complete with iron bedsteads, tuckshop and pillow- fighting room as celebrities sneak out in their slippers for a night of pillow talk.
Jemma Kidd said: "There is an important message behind the party - we need to make men sit up and listen so that they are all aware of the symptoms of testicular cancer."
