Graduates get lesson in success
TOM RYANTHE Government has launched an initiative to woo back Ireland's graduates.
Seminars in Boston and New York on October 15 and 17 will give details of Shannon Development's new 'Capital Alumni-Start' programme and invite the ex-patriots to listen to the experiences of Irish entrepreneurs who have made business headlines in recent years.
Top Irish entrepreneurs Mike Fitzgerald and Gary Carroll will inform US-based graduates about the opportunities in Ireland now for people with viable plans for high potential business start-ups.
Marian Deegan of Shannon Developments said: "Sectors of interest include software, digital technology, wireless, environmental and international services."
Applicants who qualify will receive up to EUR5,000 in funding to cover half the cost of a feasibility study.
