Chinese, Russian firms made $2.5 billion worth of trade deals
Chinese and Russian firms made US$2.5 billion worth of trade deals and investment agreements at the 15th international trade and economic fair that ended in Harbin on Saturday.
A Russian-Chinese economic forum and a presentation of the Amur region's investment possibilities were held as part of this fair. Russia presented more than 60 projects that attracted huge interest among Chinese businesspersons.
More than 2,000 exhibition stands were set up on an area of 56,000 square metres in Harbin. Eighty countries attended the event. The Russian section covered an area of 1,000 square metres.
