ACTRESS Maureen O'Hara is searching for a John Wayne lookalike.

The 81-year-old star of the Quiet Man wants him to feature in the 50th anniversary celebrations for the classic movie which was filmed in the quaint village of Cong, Co Mayo.

The September cele-bration of the cult movie will feature a special contest to find the best lookalike for the Sean Thornton character, played by Wayne in the film.

The winner of heats in Britain will get an all-expenses paid trip to Ireland to take part in the final.
