Eric Williams has joined TrustCorp Washington as vice president and manager of the Spokane office. He has more than 13 years of employee benefit consulting experience, and was most recently a partner and vice president of Phenneger and Morgan Inc. Williams' territory will encompass both Washington and Idaho.
Mehdi Moussavi has joined Wismer Martin Inc. as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Moussavi, a certified public accountant, joins Wismer Martin after five years with BDO Siedman, where he was manager of emerging business services.
Dakotah Direct Inc. has hired Dan Johnston as controller. Johnston has worked in accounting for more than 25 years, and was most recently with Metropolitan Mortgage and Security.
Trinity Universal Insurance Cos. has added two new senior claims adjusters to its staff:
Ron Johnson joins Trinity Universal after 15 years of adjusting and supervising claims at Grange Insurance.
Dale Walls was previously senior claims representative for Safeco Insurance.
Stephen Reichard has joined Gonzaga University as director of major gifts. Reichard most recently served as director of development for the Washington State University College of Pharmacy and International Programs.
Dr. Kamaljit Floura has joined Adult Services at Spokane Mental Health. Floura was previously medical director for Horizon Mental Health Management. A psychiatrist, he received his master of surgery from Mithila University, Bihar, India.
Colleen McCann, a certified public accountant, has joined Spokane Mental Health as controller. McCann was previously with Coopers and Lybrand as a senior auditor. She is certified in both California and Washington.
Rose Kempe has joined Windermere Real Estate's Spokane-East Sprague office as a sales associate. Kempe, who has been in the business since 1980, also has 15 years of experience as a painting contractor.
Robert Goodwin has joined Group Health Northwest's consumer board of directors. Goodwin served for more than 21 years as supervisor, regional vice president and a developmental officer for the Children's Home Society before retiring in 1994.
Debbie Lunzer joins Windermere Real Estate Spokane Manito as a sales associate. Lunzer was previously with Crowley Better Homes and Gardens and earlier owned her own business.
MOVING UP:
Daniel Finney and Mary Giannini have both become principals in the law firm of Witherspoon, Kelley, Davenport & Toole P.S. Finney has been with the firm since 1988 and will continue to practice in the areas of real estate and banking. Giannini, who joined the firm in 1989, will continue her practice in employment and health law.
Marilyn Wilson has been promoted to adult services director for Spokane Mental Health and will oversee operations of residential, multicultural, ACCESS, Evergreen Club and Medication Clinic programs. She will also be responsible for monitoring Title XIX subcontracts. Wilson has been with Spokane Mental Health for 25 years and is a certified mental health counselor and a marriage and family therapist.
Paul Quinnett Ph.D. has been appointed director of Greentree Behavioral Health. Quinnett, previously director of adult services at Spokane Mental Health, conducts workshops and seminars on suicide prevention, intervention and therapy for clinicians and counselors.
Empire Health Services management has restructured and integrated management functions for patient care. Elaine Swisher, currently vice president at Deaconess Medical Center, has become the vice president of patient care services for both Deaconess and Valley Hospital and Medical Center. Kay Lewis, presently vice president of patient care at Valley, has become vice president for case management/ education/systems development.
TRANSACTIONS:
Baker Construction has landed three new jobs worth nearly $2 million. They include a 9,000-square-foot maintenance facility at 2509 N. Farr Lane for Ryder Truck; a $600,000 remodel of Sprague Avenue Retail Center, 10 N. Sullivan; and two buildings worth $300,000 for Spalding Auto Parts, 10414 E. Knox.
Wendt Advertising was recently named agency of record for Tel-West Communications. Wendt's responsibilities include developing integrated marketing strategies for Tel-West in order to gain consumer awareness and market share. Tel-West plans to upgrade its system with fiber-optic network and new central-switching operation.
ELECTED:
The AgAmerica FCB board of directors has elected Alan Dillman, president of Dillman Marketing and Research Inc., as chairman, and Fred Colver, who operates a 3,000-acre ranch raising wheat, barley, alfalfa and broker hay and cattle, as vice president.
Hospice of Spokane has selected its 1996 board of trustees officers: Darlene Chovan-Anderson, president; Colleen Lee, vice president; Dar Clode, secretary; David Fruci, treasurer. Steven Dashiell was named a new member of the hospice board.
James Lombardi retail credit manager for Washington Trust Bank, has been installed as president of the Spokane Credit Association. The Washington Wheat Commission has elected James Moore as chairman for 1996. Karl Felgenhauer has been elected vice chairman, and Christopher Shaffer, treasurer. Philip Isaak, of Coulee City, will represent wheat producers in Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant and Okanogan counties. The other members of the commission include David Harlow, Michell Payne, and Charles Berry.
