Cable & Wireless Cuts Revenue Outlook - Brief Article

Global telecom giant Cable & Wireless PLC [CWP] on Wednesday lowered the revenue outlook for its global division, saying it expects a 6 percent drop in revenues for this year's second half. The company attributed the decline mostly to slowing revenue from its U.S. retail voice and service-providers businesses. C&W is exiting its U.S. retail voice business while its service-providers business continues to operate under intense pricing pressure.
