Michelle Your letters: Scottish penalty
A ReidHERE we go again - roads blocked, transport disrupted and football games cancelled because of snow.
Surely here in Scotland football should be played in trouble-free summer months?
Winter is the time for "cold" sports like skiing, skating and curling. Football has been placed in winter only because the English do not want to distract support from cricket.
When that means nothing to the Scottish followers of the more beautiful game, why must we feel obliged to abide by such a made-in- England tradition?
Now that we have our own Parliament, surely we can make our own ruling on the matter?
