LAST week's Sunday Mirror was full of stories about crime, sleaze and incompetence.

I thought I was reading about a foreign country. But no, all the articles - including Consignia's party - were about what was happening here in Britain. Virtually all showed a lack of leadership by senior management, top people at Buckingham Palace, the Government and also the boardroom.

This country has, without doubt, the most contemptible top people in the world.
