The covers are on loan from the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Mass. -- IN CELEBRATION OF WALKING. The Isle of Jersey, one of the Channel Islands between France and Great Britain, known for its winding pathways and coastal trails, is a walker's dream. Autumn Walking Week, Sept. 18-25, lets you keep company with some of the island's most experienced "ramblers" and Blue Badge tourist guides. Most of the guided walks are free and don't require pre- registration. The strenuous rating is either "easy," "medium," or "difficult."
