The print on the envelope reads, in part: "From Wadsworth, Howland & Co., Inc. ... Hardware, Paints, Brushes, Varnishes, Floor Polishes, Artists' Supplies- Drafting Materials." Several patches of red watercolor paint and a few lines of pen ink are on the back of the envelope.
