Butter/margarine filler handles multiple container sizes without change parts

Speed: 40 cups per minute

The Fast-Pack (FP) butter/margarine filler accommodates multiple container sizes on the same conveyor, limiting changeover duration to the amount of time necessary to restock the machine with the new container. The system, which can fill up to 40 cpm, consists of a single lane Benhil DK dosing unit with a nozzle that slides between the lanes. When a container size change is needed, the operator merely removes the current container and loads the new one into its respective lane. New lids and overcaps need to be loaded as well. The cup magazine, carrier plates, foil lid magazine, heat seal station and overcapping unit are all designed to accommodate the different sized containers. Rollstock lidding can be integrated in place of the pre-cut lids. The FP features full clean-in-place/sterilize-in-place (CIP/SIP) capabilities, servo-controlled filler, stainless steel filler, stainless steel construction and a logical touchscreen that controls operation, maintenance and diagnostics. Encore SW series, a new line of low-, midrange- and high-speed shrink wrappers, are ideal for 24-hour production of trayed or unsupported multipack beverages, foods and other products. Encore CW systems operate at speeds up to 100 cycles per minute and use an independent servo motor drive on the film feed knife to provide flexibility and smoother, more reliable operation. The servo-driven knife and high efficiency single-roll wrapping system with bottom overlap seal ensure accurate film metering and wrapping. The tunnel conveyor/drive consists of two independent belt conveyors with variable frequency drives. The first section includes a stainless steel chain with bottom air flow for secure bottom overlap seals and independent heat zone.
