New square-bottom multiwall bag provides optimum packing volume and palletization

Square Sak[TM] multiwall bags are ideal for packaging powders and other dry materials for the chemical, food and mineral industries. The bag's square bottom and pinch top provide maximum packing volume in relation to package materials. Its sift-resistant, self-opening style features 90-degree corners, increasing the internal volume. The flat bottom also provides a true billboard surface area for printing and product identity. New PEN baby food jar provides a lightweight solution to reduce costs and wastage

New polyethylene napthalate (PEN) jars withstand the sterilization process and are capable of achieving the long shelf life required for low-acid baby foods such as meat and vegetables. Made from HiPERTUF[R] resin, the jar is a viable alternative to glass and metal for the retort food and drink market. In tests performed at the Guelph Food Technology Centre in Canada, the jar endured pasteurization conditions of 240.8 [degrees] F. for 63 minutes. Holographic security paper helps prevent product counterfeiting
