The self-heating blow-molded container is made from a six-layered plastic structure, including Accpro [R] high-performance polypropylene from Amoco. This polypropylene exhibits temperature stability and cost effectiveness. The user activates the container by pushing a button on the bottom releasing water into an inner heating cone where it mixes with crushed limestone. These materials combine and create a natural thermic reaction, heating the container's contents. Product temperatures can be varied from 100 [degrees] to - 180 [degrees] F., controlled within +/-5 [degrees] F., and the contents remain warm for up to 20 minutes. Ontro containers can be made in various shapes and sizes, but are currently produced in two sizes: a 16-ounce container that holds 10.5 ounces of product and a 12-ounce size that holds 7 ounces of product.
