New High-Power Remote transmits sensor signals and up to 1 ampere of 24-volt DC current "wirelessly" to devices on packaging machinery. High-Power Remote eliminates slip rings and mechanical connections--prone to corrosion and damage-for electrical coupling to sensors and other electronic devices. Offered in power-only and power/sensor versions, the passive-inductive transmitter is not affected by, nor does it contribute to, RF or EMI interference. Ideal for applications not requiring sensor feedback, the power-only version has two simple components--local and remote heads--which can deliver 1 ampere at 24 DC volts across a 4 to 6 millimeter gap. New ultrasonic counting sensor scores bulls-eye accuracy in difficult applications

New Model CT1000 ultrasonic counting sensor achieves accuracy in counting containers on single-file conveyor lines. The sensor counts separated and back-to-back containers, remembering not to recount any that have moved past in the reverse direction. As the CT1000 tabulates a container, its green LED flashes and a 20-millisecond pulse is outputted with which an electronic counter, PLC or other counting system records.
