Throughout the Product Focus on Rigid Containers we honor the winners of the National Association of Container Distributors (NACD) Packaging Awards. Gold, Silver and Bronze awards are given in each of seven categories. The most outstanding package overall was awarded Best of Show.

Custom Building Products introduced its reformulated line of tile and grout cleaners, restorers, protectants and beautifiers in unique high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottles from

Arroyo Packaging (call (714) 632-7117 or mark Item #499). "The exciting new product is reflected in the package," says Paula Shipley, director of marketing for Custom Building Products. "The shape is industrial and serious, yet it still has retail appeal," she adds.

The yellow containers are highlighted in contrasting colors on its printed clear labels and caps to help consumers identify certain product types in the line. For example, the protectant products have green highlights, while the cleaning products have blue highlights. The patented SurfaceGard grout and tile protectant is packaged in a green metallic bottle (still following its assigned color code) with gold accents, giving it a premier position in the line.
