SAFE cancels January `Circle' meeting - Safe Circle conference cancelled - Brief Article

Former CPSC Chairman Ann Brown's group SAFE (Safer America for Everyone) has announced the cancellation of its planned "Safe Circle" conference scheduled for Jan. 15-16 in Oak Brook, Illinois.

Brown's Safe Circle is a group of corporate leaders who gather for seminars and talks on product safety. Brown initiated a similar group while heading CPSC and transferred the concept to her new organization. A spokesman for SAFE said that the "timing" of the meeting was not favorable, and that it would be rescheduled.
